Why the Heart?

On average the heart beats 100,000 times per day. Feeding life throughout the human body on a daily basis. Further research tells us that the heart is positioned in the center of the body, encaged for added protection, positioned perfectly displaying the importance of its intended purpose of maintaining life. The heart's ability to manage life is solely contingent upon how we as the individual pursue life, making it, "the seat of the faculties and personality, whence proceed thoughts and feelings, words, decisions and actions. God knows it to its depths, be appearances what they may." The heart, attributes to how we connect with God, how we seek God, how we hear Him, how we praise Him and most of all how we love Him. The heart houses our instincts, our awareness to what is morally accurate and metaphorically our hearts can be broken, mended, made whole and even blessed.
Finally it is from the heart that we pursue our passions, seek to love unconditionally and live with purpose, hence...
